Here's my winter picture for Val this year :3 I liked last years better I think T.T this didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped, but yeah (I started liking it more when I heard Val loved it so it was all good :3 Aww and her's to me is really sweet and lovely too ;w; But she's bashing her own work as usual /pif >3 I love it though! ^^ I sent it to her with the mail two weeks ago, so I'm expecting Val to get it this week! if she hasn't got it already today ^^ I hope so! Also sent her a Jirachi and Serebii plush ^^ Ally looks a bit weird perhaps =/ may think she's got a big mouth on this, but (1) she IS laughing, (2) she's supposed to be seen from a bit "down" camera angle-wise, so it looks big like that xD; ack but yeah, she gave San a little kiss on the cheek and running away laughing/giggling, and San is a mere few secs away from setting off after her to get revenge >D RAWW! :3 I'm really glad you loved it, Val I'm happy you want to hang this up in your room too ^^ I'll hang your's up too, both if you're sending last years picture that you couldn't send due to college T.T But anyway I'll hang them on the wall right next to my bed so I can see them before falling asleep :3 I'll post the letter-art too, when you've gotten the letter ^_^
in my eyes this is the best piece of art in all deviantART :3 i have seen how they make it look amazing on ther computor and how they color it on the computor to add details in each and evry corner of it, its cool that they can add so many things to the picture but in the end it wuld be more computor than art... THIS is unbeliveable, THIS is TRUE art.
HA! how do other people get such good results with colored pencils? the colors are so solid, easy to distinguish
i also use color pencils, but i'm trying to go more into CG...although, all i have right now is just paint
i must say, i've always had a high respect for the romantics. You just don't see to many around anymore, 'sigh'. And as an artist, i feel art is a great why to impress girls...especially when you draw a picture of them as a cartoon. Reaching out to draw these romantic scenes is a very unique attribute of the male gender. I believe you provide a positive example of a TRUE ARTIST, because true artist draw from there heart. . . nuff said
Thank you very much ^^
What many, who are new to the traditional media, such as pencil, crayon, or even markers, often tend to color very "lose", hence their colors will not be as solid, or in cases, not at all. It's a good idea to arm oneself with a great amount of patience, before taking on such a quest, as to color a full-sized A4 ark of paper (standard print-size - sizes vary, from one nation to another) as well, prepare for some cramps in the hand and fingers. It's good to apply a good amount of pressure, to ensure the colors will go deep into the fibers and texture of the paper, since regular paper isn't as smooth, as one should think.
Of course, not too much pressure, risking to fracture the paper, or breaking the tip of the pencils (that still occurs often, with cheap pencils)
And good eye ;3 I do infact love to draw, by using my emotion as my muse and inspiration. When my art pleases my girlfriend and makes her happy, only then I feel accomplished. -I do not draw to attract an audience, nor to please them (no offense to them all X3; ) however, many still are, as well amazed, amused or even inspired, that is why I upload my works to dA too, instead of just showing them to Val. X3
And yeah, I hear you :3 when it comes to art........ I choose to be "less male" >_>; lol, and yet, still keep some traits that atleast makes it more "fun" for everyone. X3
hmmmm, I wonder how my art will change when I have a girlfriend? might have some very dramatic changes, hehehe. Love is too complex to understand, it works in mysterious ways...
